Friday Finds
With the holidays seriously around the corner, I thought it would be fun to share with you one of my favorite things on this week's Friday Finds. For the past two years, I have asked for a custom bag for christmas. I am pretty low maintenance when it comes to bags however I have a very specific opinion about what I want. I try to make a purse last a year before switching out--I'm not somebody who changes bags with each outfit. Not that there is anything wrong with that... it's just not something I want to think about. A couple of years back, I began my search for a new purse. There was nothing in the stores that I liked enough to carry it for a year. I am pretty picky. I can't tell you how many hours I searched Etsy for what I had in my mind. During that time, my mom took my oldest on a field trip and met one of the moms. My mom came home telling me about how I needed to meet Joanna. Not only would I like her but she creates custom bags. So I stalked looked her up on Etsy & Facebook and she had some bags that I had already looked at but didn't realize she was LOCAL! Double win!!
You guys. She is incredible. Her quality is as nice as what you would find in a store. She has impeccable attention for details. My first bag was her Madison Tote in navy chevron with a flower pin and my second bag was a Lizzy clutch in light gray fabric with faux brown leather.. Joanna has many options of bags to choose from and the fabric choices are completely up to you. You can customize your bag however you want! She has all kinds of bags ranging from totes to clutches to wallets to beach bags to camera straps and so much more! Not only would something like this make for good Christmas gifts but also great bridesmaid gifts. Go to her Facebook page (you can contact her and order through there) and I promise you will get lost in all the pictures of products. So much beauty!! Here are a few to wet your appetite....
Joanna is seriously one of the nicest, coolest people I've met. So super talented. She and her husband also do photography. They have two girls (freshman in college and kindergartener) and are now in the process of adopting.
If a handbag is on your wishlist for this season, I encourage you to check her out!
