Episode 24: Tracy Levinson
Tracy Levinson joins me for Episode 24. Friend of the show, Courtney DeFeo, introduced me to Tracy and insisted that I read her book. And boy, was she right! I am so glad she insisted. Tracy is an empty nestor who has been pouring into young women's lives for years. She is a girl from TX who moved to LA to pursue acting only to discover new life in Jesus years later after her kids were born.
We talk about how she became a Christian and why she would write a book on sexuality. If you have little ears listening with you, then you may want to pause our conversation and pick it back up when they aren't around. She gives advice to moms of tweens and young women, advice to single women and even advice to married women in regards to sexuality.
The nature of this subject can drum up different emotions and different opinions. Two friends can see things differently. Two churches can see things differently. Some things can have a black and white response and some things are more gray. But I want this to be a safe place to talk about complicated matters.
Okay, so are you ready? Cue Salt-N-Pepa because we are gonna talk about sex.

I was excited to talk with her because I know there are a lot of my listeners who feel lost when it comes to talking about sexuality with your kids. Her book is an excellent resource if you have high school or older kids. In fact, I encourage you to read it even if your kids are young. There are some things that you need to land on in order to prepare yourself and your kids for whats to come.
Tracy encouraged my faith--to seek God and to know His word. I'd love to hear what you thought about today's conversation. Head over to Instagram and let's chat. Thank you again for listening and sharing the show!! And as always, I hope that this show helps you survive a little easier.
